Kirra Voller Interview

Keep your head up is the latest track released by Dylan and the first signs of the man who has overcome. Featuring the vocals of sister Kirra the collaborative effort acts as a beacon to those who are facing similar systemic oppression.

The song starts with the refrain of his sister Kirra. ‘I know its heavy but we aren’t going to break’ laid over a soothing piano and guitar backing that allows the listener to experience the uplifting motif intended. Its tranquil tones continue as Dylan begins to deliver a litany of philosophical wisdom.

His flow is tight, exact, yet relaxed. Transitioning with ease between rhythms and tempos as he delivers a message of resilience and triumph over the darkness of the nations punitive system. The hypnotic sound creating ample enticement to simply float away and forget where you are. Perhaps the songs greatest gift to the world given its intended audience.

We can only hope Dylan continues making his music. Allowing him to move beyond the stigma thrown on him by a media that only seeks to feast upon the suffering of others. In doing so he provides the proof we all need that we are more than what the world would tell, providing us all with the soundtrack to our own determination of purpose. Gifting us all the knowledge that we too can overcome.
